What You'll Do
As our Delinquency Coordinator, you'll serve as both detective and diplomat—identifying contribution issues while working collaboratively with employers to resolve them and protect member benefits.
Fund Protection & Analysis

Monitor employer contribution reports with precision to identify discrepancies and delinquencies

Analyze payment patterns and trends to proactively address potential issues

Maintain meticulous records of all delinquency cases, correspondence, and resolution outcomes

Generate insightful reports on delinquency status and trends for fund leadership
Employer Partnership & Communication

Serve as the professional, solution-focused point of contact for employers on delinquency matters

Guide employers through reporting requirements, payment processes, and compliance obligations

Send timely delinquency notices in accordance with fund policies and legal requirements

Work collaboratively with employers to resolve payment issues while maintaining fund standards
Compliance & Legal Coordination

Ensure all employer contributions align with collective bargaining agreements and fund policies

Prepare comprehensive documentation for potential legal actions when necessary

Collaborate with auditors, legal counsel, and compliance teams on complex cases
-
Stay current on ERISA regulations and other federal requirements impacting fund contributions
Process Enhancement

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve delinquency resolution processes

Implement best practices that enhance efficiency while maintaining thoroughness

Contribute to team initiatives that strengthen overall fund compliance
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field is a plus!)

Experience in compliance, accounting, or delinquency management

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database/accounting software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideal Experience:

Background in Taft-Hartley fund environment or union operations

Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and contribution requirements

Understanding of ERISA regulations and fund compliance processes
