Position Overview

As a Dental Hygienist at our new facility, you'll play a vital role in our patient-centered care approach, providing high-quality oral health services in a supportive, compassionate environment. You'll work closely with our Dental Director and clinical team to deliver preventive care and education to our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from a CODA-accredited program
• Valid Dental Hygienist license and Dental Radiographer license issued by the State of Indiana
• 3-5 years clinical experience as a dental hygienist (Community Health Center/FQHC experience preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus
• Experience or interest in working with diverse patient populations
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent care

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal examinations
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and take dental radiographs
• Apply preventive treatments including fluoride and sealants
• Administer local anesthesia as permitted by Indiana regulations
• Provide individualized oral health education and care plans
• Maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment per OSHA and CDC protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team on comprehensive patient care
